Traffic generation is something we all have struggled with. When you take a look at the top Internet Marketers they don’t struggle with traffic generation any longer, because they usually have affiliates and other people generating all the traffic for them…

But they haven’t always had that opportunity. Usually you won’t get anyone to drive that much traffic to your website before you’ve established yourself as an authority in your niche and people know your name.

And it was so for all the top Internet Marketers out there as well…

The fact is that we all have been struggling with traffic at some point and in all honesty, I think it’s really hard to generate the amount of traffic I want.

However, there’s a lot of different ways to try and generate traffic. But we usually devide all the traffic generating strategies into two different categories: “Free Traffic” and “Paid Traffic”.

And today I’m going to talk about the best way to generate some free targeted traffic.

You see, it’s one thing to generate traffic. It’s a whole ‘nother thing to generate what we call free targeted traffic. Targeted traffic is people who are specially interested in what you have to offer.

And this will bring you guaranteed traffic…

Let’s say I’m selling a product on how to lose weight online for $47. Now, we all know that there are a lot of various keyword people out there are using to find tips on how to lose weight – but a targeted keyword would be something like “lose weight now”, “lose weight in 30 days”, “lose weight solution”, “lose weight ideas” etc.

You see?

People that would use those kinds of keywords are almost desperate to find the solution on how they can lose weight in the quickest possible time – they’re desperate!

And that Ladies and Gentlemen, that’s a targeted keyword, and that’s how you can get free targeted traffic.

But how do we find keywords like that?

Well, it’s actually pretty simple…Go to Google and type in “Keyword tool” and click the top result. That will bring you to the Google Keyword Tool that will do the job for you. The Google Keyword Tool is free of charge and easy to use, but it’s still easier to use a paid version of a Keyword Tool that’s called Market Samurai.

Anyways…

Over to finding targeted keywords. What you first need to do is to type in general keywords in your niche. Let’s say we’re in the Health niche – I would then type in keywords like “lose weight”, “flat abs”, “six pack”, “easy workout” etc. What the Keyword Tool will do for you now, is to also bring back results of related keywords – and that’s where we come in. We want keywords with as low monthly searches as below 1000.

Between 400-800 is the sweetspot. Now, copy and paste those keywords into a notepad document or something and make sure you save them, because these are the keywords that will give you free targeted traffic.

And when you first have them, you can use them as you want. Write articles about them, write blog posts about them, write guest posts about them, write forum posts about them. Use them as you want.

I suggest you use them for your blog or in your articles though. It’s more easy to tank high if you write an article and submit it to various Article Directories out there – such as Ezine Articles.

Quick SEO-tip:

When writing a blog post or an article or whatever you want, using the targeted keywords, you have to make sure that you’re using the keyword once in the title, once in the discription of what the post/article is about, once in the first sentence of the post/article, once somewhere in the middle of the post/article body and once in the very end of the post/article.

That’s 4 times throughout the article (including the title) and once in the discription.

If you do this with, let’s say 10 targeted keywords with a monthly search volume of 400, that’s potentially 4000 visitors to your website – for free.

And that’s what we call free targeted traffic…
